Design direction
In this progress I need to create a sketch and a digital poster for my work.

Here, I try to visualize my idea from my head to paper with rough sketch, I'm imagining a cyborg inside a lab being maintained carefully.

Next, I digitalized my sketch and put some rough color to see the value and the visual on how my composition is going.
After doing my sketch, I decided to make changes to my vibes from futuristic to dark futuristic vibes. So instead of white and clean color, I will move to darker vibes.
Done with my sketch, I proceed to do my work in Photoshop. I collect photos that I want to use and compile it.

Progress :

First, I begin by drafting my digital poster based on my sketch. Before I arrange it, I cut some texture from pictures given, like the metal effect was taken from the female motorcycle (honor photo) & the texture from the top armor is taken from the window blind then I cut & arrange it as how I sketch.

Next I arrange and put all the elements I have and background. I think the elements placement is good now so I proceed to next step.
After done with my placement, I start to build the environment and vibes by playing with color opacity , blur effects and glow effects so it create a contrast and focus on the poster. I also highlight some parts of the body with brush so it blends with the light.

Lastly, I apply a filter of blueish color to my poster so it gives more futuristic and something unordinary vibes. And I'm done with my poster.

FEEDBACK
My lecturer Mr. Fauzi help me improved my composition, at first I placed the female too back to the screen, so later it will look awkward when I make it as a lock screen, so he suggest me to scale the female bigger and closer to the screen and it really brings a big difference. It looks better and visually more appealing now.
REFLECTION
Experience - I quite have a hard time and struggle during this progress, since I was doing a robotic parts, and I cant really photograph that in real life, so I need to reconstruct it 1 by 1 from pieces to pieces by cutting and arranging which took me so many time.
Observation - I realized that this is not an easy assignment, but its quite fun to do, this progress also have the same technique with doing collages but just with more effects to play around.
Findings - I found out that there's many way to actually improve your poster and composition, it's not just about cut and arrange but also knowing how to play with the color and opacity so it can create contrast.
