WEEK 12 : EXECUTION AND POST PODUCTION

In this week, I have finished my poster and need to start animating my poster in After Effect

FINAL POSTER	TITLE: Rebirth through machine
	ARTIST STATEMENT: This poster depicts the fusion between human and technology. A female who is reconstructed and reborn by technology and robotic body, set in a lab chamber being observed and maintained by scientists as she transform into a new form that never exist.

Before I start inputting my psd file to after effects, I rearrange my layer and merge unimportant layers.

After done, I finally can proceed to animate in after effects.

    Lastly, I input and adjust my layers arrangement.

FEEDBACK

My lecturer Mr. Fauzi help me improved my composition, at first I placed the female too back to the screen, so later it will look awkward when I make it as a lock screen, so he suggest me to scale the female bigger and closer to the screen and it really brings a big difference. It looks better and visually more appealing now.

REFLECTION

Experience - I quite have a hard time and struggle during this progress, since I was doing a robotic parts, and I cant really photograph that in real life, so I need to reconstruct it 1 by 1 from pieces to pieces by cutting and arranging which took me so many time.

Observation - I realized that this is not an easy assignment, but its quite fun to do, this progress also have the same technique with doing collages but just with more effects to play around.

 

Findings - I found out that there's many way to actually improve your poster and composition, it's not just about cut and arrange but also knowing how to play with the color and opacity so it can create contrast.
