WEEK 13 : ANIMATION AND FINISHING

At first, I try to search glitch effects on youtube for my overlay animation effects, the I start to animate from idle lockscreen for a few second, then transition to the normal lockscreen with the elements moving. I animate the cable by using puppet, so it can only move the edge of the cable. Then I play with opacity for the lights, masking for the UI and scale for the heartbeat UI and heart element.

After done animating, I export and render my videos. Next I Insert them to the right format and post them on youtube.

FEEDBACK

My lecturer Mr. Fauzi help me improved my composition, at first I placed the female too back to the screen, so later it will look awkward when I make it as a lock screen, so he suggest me to scale the female bigger and closer to the screen and it really brings a big difference. It looks better and visually more appealing now.

REFLECTION

Experience - I'm quite struggling to animate this animation, I keep messing up the keyframe and timeline.

Observation - This assignment needs patience and a lot of time since animation are animated by keyframes one by one.

 

Findings - I found out that there's many effects that I can use in After effects that I don't know before .Like puppet and masking. This helps me a lot during my progress
