QUIZ

Lalin:
  1. The story begins with the introduction of the protagonist’s quiet daily life and emotional state, showing loneliness and inner conflict that feels unresolved (Act 1). As the movie progresses, the character faces situations that slowly intensify their emotional struggle, pushing them to confront memories, feelings, or relationships they have been avoiding (Act 2). In the final part, the protagonist reaches an emotional realization and faces their inner conflict, leading to acceptance and personal growth, which brings the story to a calm and reflective resolution (Act 3).

  2. The inciting incident happens when the protagonist experiences a moment or interaction that disrupts their emotional balance and forces them to reflect on their loneliness or unresolved feelings.

  3. The midpoint is when the protagonist reaches an emotional turning point, realizing the truth about themselves or their situation. This scene shifts the story from passive emotion into active emotional confrontation.

  4. The climax occurs when the protagonist directly confronts their deepest emotional conflict, whether through an honest moment, decision, or emotional release. This is the most intense emotional point in the film.

  5. The theme of Lalin is loneliness, emotional isolation, and self-reflection, focusing on how quiet moments can reveal deep emotional struggles.

Everuthing Everywhere all at once:
  1. The movie starts by showing Evelyn’s overwhelming life, including her failing business, family tensions, and personal exhaustion, establishing the main problem she is trapped in (Act 1). The story then expands into the multiverse, where Evelyn experiences chaos across different realities while confronting deeper emotional conflicts with her family, especially Joy (Act 2). In the final act, Evelyn chooses empathy and kindness instead of violence, resolving both the multiverse conflict and her family issues, leading to emotional healing and acceptance (Act 3).

  2. The inciting incident is when Evelyn meets Alpha-Waymond and discovers the existence of the multiverse, learning that she must help stop a great threat.

  3. The midpoint happens when Evelyn fully understands Jobu Tupaki’s pain and realizes that the multiverse represents emotional emptiness and nihilism, not just physical danger.

  4. The climax is when Evelyn chooses kindness over destruction and emotionally reaches Joy, stopping the conflict not through fighting but through understanding and love.

  5. The main theme of Everything Everywhere All at Once is meaning, family, and choosing love in a chaotic and meaningless world, showing that small acts of kindness can give life purpose.
