PROGRESS

In this task, we were asked to record our own voice for 5-7 seconds. Then we need to edit it to into 5 different voice.

First, I open adobe audition and press file, new, multitrack session and import my audio.

Then I start to add effects.

1. Voice of phone call

Fig 2.2 Phone Call

For phone call, I use Parametric Equalizer and adjust it as what I've done in tutorial before.

2. Voice from inside of closet

Fig 2.3 Inside of closet

For inside closet, I use parametric effects and make the voice like muffled and lower the volume a little so it feels more realistic, like someone is talking from inside the closet.

3. Voice from toilet/bathroom

Fig 2.4 Toilet/bathroom

For toilet, I use the reverb effects, increase the decay time to give longer reverb tails and adjust the others as my liking to make it sound like I'm talking from inside toilet.

4. Underground cave

Fig 2.5 Underground cave

For underground cave it's quite the same from what I did for toilet but this time I make it sounds more echoing, and delay so it feels like I'm in a big cave.

5. Orc

Fig 2.6 Orc pitch shifter

Fig 2.7 Orc chorus

For orc I use the combination of pitch shifter and chorus. I choose the template of Angry Gerbil and Project Nightmare, then I made some adjustment to my likings.

After I'm done, I export it into mp3 and upload it to google drive as my submission.
