TASK 2

PROGRESS WORK

Week 1
On week 1, we formed our group and Muhammad Baihaqi Desya was appointed as leader. Our member consists of:

Week 2
We were appointed Ultra Processed Food (UPF) as our topic and we got a brief explanation from Dr. Chan Kai Sze from School of Biosciences about our topic and how we should tackle it.

Week 3
On this week, we had replacement class and we have an online consultation for our interview questions that we made. We got some feedbacks and we need to refine our interview questions even more.

After the Consultation, we decide to revise and fix the wordings and order of our questions. Some of the questions that we made are too straightforward which may make the interviewee feel confused and nervous.

After revising the question, this is our final outcome: 

Week 4
We had some lecture that explain how to put our interview data to Figma. Dr. Wong gave us an example on what a good data display looks like. We also need to make sticky notes on the side for the core findings from our interviewee, in which we will gather and cluster them later to come up with key findings. This week we will go and interview people using our interview questions.

Week 5
The lecture explain about how to make a Problem Statement and HMW and what is the formula to make both. We also got some feedback about our target groups because we choose to interview undergraduate/postgraduate student and student that live in rented accommodation or hostels. We didn't put a barrier between them so they both might live in rented hostel or both may have been a student. Our exclusion were lacking. So, in order for us to not get rid of the data we have collected, Dr. Wong suggested that we make the target group Female University Student and Male University Student.

Week 6
Dr. Wong gave instructions before class that we must bring A4 Paper and pencil, She also refresh our memories about what we have done these past few weeks. At the end, we did some activities for our project which was Crazy 8 Ideation.


After making all of this we can continue to refine our idea so we can get one final idea.

Week 7
We have no class due to Public Holiday. But, we are preparing for our presentation on week 8.

Week 8
We have need to present our idea to our client. Our presentation were reviewed by Dr. Wong beforehand and we got a lot a good feedback from both our client and lecture.

Our idea was good but it was too big of a project on our level and we can't really make it come true. So, we have to revise our ideation.

CONTRIBUTION

Week 2
I came up with 5 questions for each group, then me and my group sort and choose from all what we did and put it on figjam.

Week 3
Me, Jovanna, and Bai revise questions after the consultation for the first targeted group (Undergraduate and postgraduate university students)

Week 4 I interviewed my friend named Akari and transcript the audio.

Week 5
I did the cluster on figjam together with my teammates then we create ppt together.

Week 6 I came out with 4 ideas from the crazy eight. Ideas: Healthy workshop, more healthy food stand, posters, student discount.

Week 7 Me & group members start to make ppt slides & prepare for presentation

Week 8 Presented the slide together & we did some discussion and come up with some ideas to fix our ideation

FEEDBACK

Week 1 (21/04/2026)
We just started to make a group with different specialization. No feedback yet.

Week 2 (28/04/2026)
We haven't got any feedback yet since we just started doing interview questions.

Week 3 (05/05/2026)
Online Feedback for class replacement. Dr.Wong asked us to make some changes: 

  • Separate the sticky notes to make it more organized
  • For Interview, we need to ask if they have health issue. If they don't we can continue and proccess with the interview.
  • During Interview, do not ask straightforward about UPF because its too technical. We need to introduce other stuff first starting from like their habit, etc.
  • Put questions that ask about their habit, for example: what type of food do you usually take, how often... etc.
  • Need fixing on inclusion & exclusion

Week 4 (12/05/2026)
Can proceed to interviewing based on our target groups

Week 5 (19/05/2026)
Dr.Wong suggest us to change our targeted group into male & female university students who lives alone, since both targeted groups are quite similar, which is: Undergraduate or postgraduate university students Students living in hostels or rented accommodation

Week 6 (26/05/2026)
Dr.Wong asked us to inform our absent member (Baihaqi) about the crazy eight we did in the class, so we can continue and update it on our slides for our presentation next 2 weeks.

Week 7 (02/06/2026)
No class - Holiday

Week 8 (09/06/2026)
Dr.Wong & Client suggest us to revise and rework on our ideation. Although its a good idea, in reality for our level (students) it's very hard to realize it. The client also suggest us to make something like app, which can inform or show students nearest place to get groceries or healthy food, etc.
